In keeping with the British Academy of Jewellery’s commitment to the provision of high-level technical training for the jewellery industry, we are pleased to announce the launch of our first distance learning courses for CAD skills, including 3Design and Adobe Illustrator for jewellery design.
BAJ’s distance learning is delivered via an innovative format including combinations of live expert instruction; discussions, tutorials and Q&A’s. Studying in small groups via BAJ’s interactive digital learning platform, students will receive individual feedback on their projects from tutors in order to achieve effective skill progression. The platform will also provide them with a space in which they can interact with other course participants.
Learn the fundamental skills you need for transferring your hand drawing abilities to Adobe Illustrator in order to produce eye-catching fully rendered jewellery designs.
Led by Jack Meyer, one of BAJ’s CAD experts, our Adobe Illustrator for Jewellery Design for Beginners (Online) course is ideal for working or aspiring jewellery designers looking to make a move into CAD, an invaluable skill for the contemporary jewellery industry.
Learn to model and render jewellery designs in 3D CAD with 3Design Atelier and gain confidence in producing objects that can be brought to life through 3D printing or jewellery casting.
Led by Jack Meyer, one of BAJ’s CAD experts, our 3Design CAD for Beginners (Online) course is ideal for current or aspiring jewellery designers who need to rework their fine CAD jewellery designs on a regular basis, and will teach them how to use 3Design’s powerful parametric modelling tools to quickly make dramatic changes to existing models.
