Jewellery Manufacture for Beginners

COURSE OVERVIEW

Learn basic jewellery manufacturing skills, gaining a thorough introduction to a variety of jewellery making techniques. If you’re just getting started on your jewellery journey and want to gain some hands-on practical experience and see how far your creativity might take you, this is the course for you.

No previous experience is required for this short course, which will give you an understanding of the wide range of manufacturing techniques available to jewellers. Over the course of the programme, you will learn how to pierce, drill, file, sand, form, solder and finish jewellery pieces, and will be given the opportunity to create a silver pendant from scratch. When you complete the course, you will receive a BAJ certificate and will be well positioned to undertake intermediate jewellery manufacturing training.
