Wax Carving for Jewellery

COURSE OVERVIEW

This five-day wax carving for jewellery course will cover all the basic techniques required to produce beautifully hand-carved pieces of jewellery in wax.

Over the course of the workshop, you will make several wax samples, and a series of finished wax pieces of your choice. You can then take these pieces to a professional casting company and arrange to have them cast for you in a metal of your choice.

Under the supervision of one of our world-class tutors, you will learn through hands-on exercises, allowing you to make real progress with your wax carving skills and make the pieces you want.

Next dates: 26th July 2021, 16th August 2021

Course duration: Five sessions of seven hours, Monday to Friday, between 9:30am and 5pm. This course runs twice: from 26th until 30th July 2021, and from 16th until 20th August 2021.

Number of hours: 35 hours

Delivery: This course is taught on campus in London.
