Admissions Supervisor

Reporting to: Head of Operations
Location: Central London
Salary: £32-35k per annum

The British Academy of Jewellery is an independent Further and Higher Education training provider, located in central London, and has been delivering specialist training programmes since 1999.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Admissions Supervisor. The successful candidate will be working closely with Academic and Administration staff across Centres, coordinating the Admissions officers at other centres. The varied role requires the exercise of independent judgement and initiative, strong administrative and excellent interpersonal skills.

Course Leader BA (Hons) Jewellery Design and Production

Reporting to: Head of Academy HE
Location: Central London
Salary: 0.8 (Pro-rated FTE – £38K)

We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and forward-thinking academic practitioner to join the British Academy of Jewellery’s new BA (hons) Jewellery Design and Production. 

The British Academy of Jewellery is an independent Further and Higher Education training provider, located in central London, and has been delivering specialist training programmes since 1999.

As Course Leader you will play a key role in the development and management of this new ground-breaking course, which aims to educate the creative and jewellery practitioners of the future. You will work closely with colleagues from the Academy to build a programme that blends production, design, business, and theory in an engaging and innovation-led course. You will provide a highly stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike and will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the course and its delivery through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources. You will have the opportunity to build partnerships across the creative industry, embed scholarly practice and education research and envision a programme that reconsiders the required skillsets of the creative practitioners of tomorrow.

Graphic Designer

Reporting to: Head of Operations
Location: Central London
Salary: Competitive salary

The British Academy of Jewellery is an independent Further and Higher Education training provider, located in central London, and has been delivering specialist training programmes since 1999.

We are looking for a passionate graphic designer to work with us to drive the visual identity of the company. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful promotion of our Higher Education and Further Education offerings as well as short courses, traineeships, and apprenticeships to both learners and employers.  Your role will be to build upon the company’s range of branded, engaging marketing collateral, both physical and digital. These include, but are not limited to, learner and employer brochures and fact sheets, event invitations, programme and exhibition information, campus branding, video content, and website design and imagery.

Salary: £37-40k depending on experience
