You’ll be guided through each stage of the making process, gaining hands-on experience in traditional metalworking techniques:

• Measure, mark, and pierce – accurately mark out the metal and cut it to size.
• Anneal – soften the silver to prepare it for shaping.
• Forge & form – use hammers and tools to shape the metal into hoops.
• File & emery – refine the form and smooth surfaces.
• Finish & polish – create a clean, professional final piece.

By the end of the course, you will have:

• Take home a polished pair of silver forged hoop earrings.
• Confidently apply hand-forging techniques, including shaping, and finishing silver.
• Understand how silver behaves under heat, pressure, and manipulation.
