British Academy of Jewellery and Fuli Gemstones collaborated to give our Jewellery Design and Manufacturing Diploma students hands-on experience working with Fuli’s natural and vibrant peridot.
The project challenged our level 5 diploma students to design and make jewellery featuring a Fuli peridot. Fuli Gemstones generously donated a peridot for every student to use in their creation. Each piece of jewellery made by the students reflects the history and meaning of this precious gemstone, while still feeling relevant to the modern-day jewellery consumers.
“Opportunities to work with key industry partners such as Fuli Gemstones are so important to our students, in order to help them gain understanding of how the real-life jewellery industry works, and to aid their professional development,” said British Academy of Jewellery’s Jewellery Diplomas Programme Lead Sally Collins.
