Jewellery made by British Academy of Jewellery students is currently touring Europe. Students’ designs have been featured in international exhibitions as part of the multi-year Erasmus Student Network programme we are participating in titled ‘The Future is our Jewel’. Previously, at the beginning of the year, a group of BAJ Erasmus students visited several jewellery schools in Europe. During the trip, BAJ students learnt about jewellery making in different countries. The Erasmus programme enabled them to connect with students from different cultures and expand their horizons.

The Future is our Jewel project promotes innovation in the jewellery industry and creates cross-cultural dialogue on sustainability. In addition, participating in the diverse Erasmus student network is part of our wider international activities.

BAJ Jewellery Design and Manufacturing Diploma student Robin Stratton took part in the Erasmus student network exchange. Watch the video below to hear about her experiences.
