Daniel Rytz is a physicist and expert crystal grower with decades of experience in developing crystals for optical, piezoelectric, and various technical applications. Since beginning his career in 1977, he has been at the forefront of advancements in crystal technology.
About Daniel’s Work
In 2012, Daniel co-founded BREVALOR sàrl in Les Sciernes, Switzerland, alongside Corinne Siegrist. The company serves as a platform for pioneering the development of crystals with unique properties, including phosphorescence in transparent media, for both ornamental and functional applications in watchmaking and jewelry.
Since 2019, BREVALOR has collaborated with Sofie Boons in an innovative partnership focused on exploring and testing novel aesthetic effects using these specialized crystals. Through this work, Daniel continues to push the boundaries of crystal science and its artistic applications.
