Biography

Dr Williamson brings extensive experience in creative industries higher education, with expertise in funding, quality assurance, and governance across Scottish and English systems. He has led award-winning programmes in Russell Group, post-92, and specialist private institutions, recognised for innovation, industry relevance, and student success. 

Passionate about inclusive leadership and curriculum development, Matthew combines strategic vision with hands-on teaching and mentoring, fostering strong connections between education and the creative industries.
