Entry requirements

No previous experience is required. Some knowledge of basic jewellery-making techniques, such as using a piercing saw and soldering, are an advantage but are not essential.

No funding is available for short courses but as a student or alumni of the past 3 years, you may be entitled to a 10% discount. To find out if you are eligible, please enquire to speak with our recruitment team.

What You Will Learn

  • Create textured and decorative metal surfaces using a range of techniques.
  • Experiment with tools and processes to produce samples and develop creative ideas through hands-on exploration.
  • Design and make a finished piece of jewellery, such as a brooch, incorporating your samples.
  • Experiment freely with expert guidance to push your creativity and build confidence.
