Barbara studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at Sir John Cass University in London and is a trained goldsmith with a passion for teaching. She combines traditional silver and gold techniques with innovative processes such as wax carving, Keum-Boo (fine gold fusing), and reticulation.

Alongside teaching, Barbara runs her own jewellery brand in London, creating both handmade collections and bespoke pieces. She brings this professional experience into the classroom, supporting students to refine their skills, develop confidence at the bench, and explore their own creative vision.
