Biography

Georgie is a Jewellery Designer/Maker from the West Midlands, working closely with strong influences of Gothic culture, themes of the macabre all embellished with added fantasy elements.
With nearly 3 years of industry experience as a CAD designer, Georgie’s love for 3D creation truly blossomed while studying through the pandemic. With limited access to traditional workshop equipment, she began to explore the ever-developing world of Computer Aided Design, which in turn enabled her to begin to develop a personal style. With this new passion, Georgie fully immersed herself into the possibilities of 3D design honing skills in 3D printing and 3D scanning to further evolve her work.

Georgie’s other passion is wax carving – the therapeutic action of gently carving nothing into something inspires her to really let go and allow her creativity to truly take shape. To Georgie wax has no rules or boundaries, it’s a place of complete creative freedom and experimentation.

As Georgie continues to establish her path within the industry, she feels grateful to be able to help and support the next generation of budding Jewellers. Georgie understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for her students, using both her industry experience and knowledge of student life, allowing them to fully evolve into the designers they are destined to be.
