BAJ Partners With Renowned Jewellery Consultant Liz Olver
for Enriching Student Project

We are thrilled to announce our exciting collaboration with professional jewellery consultant Liz Olver. Our HNC Art & Design 3D Design (Jewellery Design and Manufacturing) students have the fantastic and rare opportunity to receive guidance and feedback from Liz on designs, the industry and more.

About Liz Olver:

Liz Olver is an experienced jewellery industry professional with a demonstrated history of working in the luxury jewellery sector. She is skilled in design and product development with expertise as a mentor, writer and educator;adept in both the creative and commercial fields. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art and University of the Arts’ Central Saint Martins, Liz is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and is the bestselling author of three international publications: ‘The Art of Jewellery Design, Jewellery Making Techniques and The Jeweller’s Directory of Shape and Form’.

About the project:

BAJ’s HNC students have free range to design a unique piece of jewellery; they will experiment and work on their designs, get interim feedback from Liz to refine their ideas and process, and then finalise their creations.

Eleni Zolia, course leader, explained why this is such an excellent partnership, “Liz has great experience working in the jewellery sector. Her involvement in the HNC Project is a great opportunity for the students to receive some valuable feedback in the development of their ideas from a very successful professional and get advice for their future endeavours.”
