Jewellery Bench Skills: Chain-making

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our three-day Jewellery Bench Skills: Chain-making short course will enable you to incorporate chain-making into your jewellery-making skillset while learning different styles and techniques. Chain-making is an excellent way to practise manufacturing techniques such as soldering, forming, and finishing and gain confidence in the workshop.

By the end of the course, you will have learned to manufacture three different chain styles: link, loop-in-loop, and weave.

The course is taught in small groups in the British Academy of Jewellery’s professional-level bench workshops, meaning that you can take advantage of our world-class jewellery making facilities and benefit from personalised feedback from our experienced tutors, who will be there to guide you every step of the way.
