The accreditation process involved an in-depth assessment of various aspects of the academy’s further education operations, including student services, employability, communication methods, staff training and development, and overall performance management. The successful retention of the matrix Standard Accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of BAJ’s team members.

The matrix Accreditation highlighted areas of strengths for BAJ. The report said:

“There are strong links with industry; through masterclasses, industry visits and competitions, these are used effectively to allow learners to explore industry structures to inform their career choices. Testimony from both learners and partners was found to be overwhelmingly positive about this. Indeed, one partner indicated that they chose to be involved with BAJ, and their learners because the Academy displayed such a strong commitment to the sector in terms of engaging with the workforce of the future.”
