What you will learn

In this 2 day course you will learn all the fundamental skills required to create beautiful hand made jewellery using Precious Metal Clay (PMC).

PMC is a clay based craft material made from tiny metal particles, an organic binding agent and water. The clay can be manipulated, textured, modelled and shaped like any other clay and once fired becomes a solid piece of metal.

You’ll learn how to texture and mould the PMC to create beautiful jewellery pieces and then experiment with both kiln and torch firing. You’ll discover how to create and attach findings to your jewellery, and learn techniques to finish your designs to a professional standard.
