Course description

Catalogues and lookbooks are essential tools for presenting your jewellery collections to the press, buyers and tradeshows. With this in mind, learning how to create these materials is an important step for jewellers preparing to launch their work into the jewellery industry. Participating in interactive online sessions, you will explore key concepts and skills for presenting your jewellery to the industry via both digital and printed media. From imagery and layout to formatting and visual impact, the course’s areas of focus will give you a comprehensive grounding in the necessary skills for producing eye-catching professional promotional materials.

Entry requirements

No previous qualifications are required. However, it would be beneficial for students to have basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Students must be able to follow the course online. Access to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential, while access to InDesign is recommended.

Students should also prepare a selection of photos of their work with which they can create a lookbook.
