A Closer Look at Our HNC 3D Design (Jewellery Design and Manufacturing) Course

Our HNC (level 4) course is designed as a vocationally oriented higher education qualification available after one year of study. The course presents students with complex technical skills, alongside expanding design and creative thinking skills. Students will further develop workshop and Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills needed to complete and produce design briefs and self-directed designs.

Why choose HNC in Art & Design 3D Design (Jewellery Design and Manufacturing)?

Not only will students be guided by world-class tutors who have first-hand experience in managing their own jewellery businesses, but students will learn both traditional techniques and the latest technology. This structure will ensure that students have a diverse range of expertise when they enter the industry.

“My time at BAJ was truly memorable, thanks to the talented and experienced tutors. I’m extremely grateful for the knowledge and guidance they provided. The skills and knowledge I gained at BAJ helped me secure my first job as a goldsmith” – Quotation from Saffron Gomes, HNC graduate.

Upon completion of the HNC (level 4) course, students will earn the Pearson Higher National Certificate and walk away with a stunning portfolio featuring their own completed jewellery pieces and designs. In addition, they will gain valuable insights into the business and its production processes, with the skills needed to design, source, and craft top-quality jewellery.
