Given the most recent developments in the global Covid-19 pandemic, the BAJ team would like to assure learners and prospective students that we are taking the safety of learners and staff seriously whilst endeavouring to continue optimal delivery of all courses.
The Omicron variant is highly contagious, and across the UK is leading to unprecedented numbers of absences from workplaces and educational institutions.
As current learners have already been informed, staying open is our priority, and, in order to ensure this during the current situations, some adjustments may be made to class schedules. Some remote delivery of occasional sessions in order to maximise staff availability may also be required. Despite these necessary adjustments, BAJ continues to follow the schemes of work that will lead to the successful completion of all qualifications offered. The content overall remains the same, even if the order of certain modules is adapted. We are extremely proud of the efforts made by staff and students to continue their work despite the impact of the pandemic, as evidenced by the excellent diploma achievement rate of 87% in 2021, with a pass rate for the course of 98.7%.
BAJ continues to follow the guidance of the Department for Education and we encourage staff and learners to follow the current government guidelines relating to Covid-19 which includes:
- Adherence to Plan B guidance
- Mandatory mask wearing in all indoor venues
- Immediate isolation and testing further to close contact with someone who has Covid.
