BAJ launches BA open days and workshop sessions in London


The British Academy of Jewellery has launched a series of info and workshop sessions for its upcoming BA (Hons) in Jewellery Design and Production. The events will give prospective students a taste of BAJ’s future-oriented degree programme which combines technical jewellery-making skills with in-depth creative development in design, theory and innovation. 

The introduction sessions will give participants an insight into the kind of projects that they can expect to undertake on the BA programme. During the events, participants will take part in a design exercise that progresses from solo design and drawing through to group discussion, enabling them to try out the sorts of exciting design activities around the future of jewellery that they would be undertaking on the BA course.

The sessions will conclude with a round table during which will cover everything you need to know about the BA’s content and application process. On the day, participants are invited to wear workshop-friendly clothes and bring a material that they find fascinating.
