What you will learn

During this course in setting, you will be introduced to a range of stone-setting techniques and skills. Building on previous jewellery-making skills, the course will include, but not be limited to:

  • Tube setting round cabochon stones
  • Claw setting round brilliant cut stones
  • Flush setting round brilliant cut stones
  • Rub over setting round brilliant cut stones

Progression

On completion, we strongly recommend enrolling on our course Stone Setting Techniques: Intermediate. Learners can also consider progression to BAJ’s Jewellery Fundamentals

Diploma or our short courses in jewellery manufacturing.
