BAJ Celebrates the Future of Jewellery Design with Graduate Showcase

On Wednesday, 2nd July, we hosted our HNC Final Show & BA (Hons) Showcase, showcasing the jewellery of 22 graduating students from their final year of study.

The atmosphere at BAJ Camden was buzzing with excitement as over 85 industry guests, students, and staff came together to celebrate the artistry of two graduating HNC Jewellery cohorts. A workbench was dedicated to each student, allowing them to carefully curate their space to highlight their work and individual style.

Guests were able to explore each student’s uniquely designed space, which displayed pieces from multiple projects, including the bespoke Engagement Ring project with Lewis Malka, the AI & Jewellery project with Sara Peymanpour and the Jewellery with Hidden Compartments project.

A number of awards were then announced and presented to high-achieving students by Nicholas Yiannarakis and the respective industry sponsor.

“I’m proud to be part of the team that has supported this fantastic group of students throughout the year. This show is the result of months of hard work, creative thinking, and hands-on making — a culmination of creative exploration across a wide range of techniques, ideas, and materials.” – Nicholas Yiannarakis (HE Lecturer)

The final show was a powerful celebration of their creativity, craftsmanship, and growth, highlighting the incredible talent of London’s next generation of jewellers. We’re also hugely thankful to our generous sponsors, whose support and prizes helped make the evening even more special. It was a night to remember—one that truly honoured the future of jewellery design.”

Many of BAJ’s graduating students are now preparing to progress to further studies or enter the industry with confidence, backed by the real-world experience and portfolio they’ve developed at BAJ. The event not only celebrated their creative journey so far, but also marked an exciting springboard into their future careers.
